THAT'S LOVEI just had an eye opening moment。 The realization of what true love and honest commitment really mean。 A very twisted and intriguing story that has an ending that will have you saying 'That is truly what love is'。 But don't be fooled。 It's not a love story。 THAT'S LOVEI just had an eye opening moment。 The realization of what true love and honest commitment really mean。 A very twisted and intriguing story that has an ending that will have you saying 'That is truly what love is'。 But don't be fooled。 It's not a love story。 。。。more

I read Chad Zunker's Family Money and enjoyed the storyline but found the twists too expected and predictable。 This is one is much better。 It's a very quick and easy read at 205 pages with no major twists but still definitely kept my interest。 Software entrepreneur Luke Driskell's wife Ashley appears on national television and all over social media as a hero for saving preschool children from a burning day care center building and then disappears the next day with her three year-old daughter Joy I read Chad Zunker's Family Money and enjoyed the storyline but found the twists too expected and predictable。 This is one is much better。 It's a very quick and easy read at 205 pages with no major twists but still definitely kept my interest。 Software entrepreneur Luke Driskell's wife Ashley appears on national television and all over social media as a hero for saving preschool children from a burning day care center building and then disappears the next day with her three year-old daughter Joy。 Luke's investigation into their disappearance uncovers Ashley's hidden past including fake IDs with different names, cities, and hair cuts and colors。 Luke sets off across the country to find the truth, but he has no idea the kind of danger he's about to enter into。 Thanks to #netgalley and #thomasandmercer for this ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

Not sure how some authors come up with these plots。 I will say this suspense is very different from any others I’ve read yet the same。 Idk…。quick read, not mad about it。

We are all human, and as such, we react。 We make choices and then we react。 We react to people and outside stimuli。 Ashley Driskell is driving home when she sees a building on fire。 The building contains small children who are trapped inside。 Ashley makes a choice and she reacts accordingly。 Removing one of her husband’s golf clubs from inside the car, she smashes a window, crawls in and helps the children to safety。 She saved lives without giving it a second thought。 What she forgot was the pub We are all human, and as such, we react。 We make choices and then we react。 We react to people and outside stimuli。 Ashley Driskell is driving home when she sees a building on fire。 The building contains small children who are trapped inside。 Ashley makes a choice and she reacts accordingly。 Removing one of her husband’s golf clubs from inside the car, she smashes a window, crawls in and helps the children to safety。 She saved lives without giving it a second thought。 What she forgot was the publicity and notoriety she might/would receive as a result of her reactions。 In savings lives, she may have just cost herself her own, or the lives of those she loves。 She is hospitalized following the encounter but slyly sneaks out of the hospital, with no clues as to her whereabouts。 Her husband, Luke, (of only a few months) is left to care for his young stepdaughter – only he awakes to find her now gone as well。 A game of cat and mouse begins taking Luke from one side of the US to the other following clues that dead end but also leave a wake of stories of murder and sudden deaths。 This was an interesting story of the power of commitment, the strength of bonds we share with others and the sacrifices we sometimes have to make in the name of love。 I enjoyed the book but felt some hesitation on the ending。 It wrapped up a little too neatly (and quickly) and in a manner I couldn’t believe would come so easily and without preparation。 Thank you, Goodreads, for an ARC of this book and the opportunity to voice my opinion。 。。。more

This book had me on the edge of my seat! Omg!! It was so so good! I haven’t enjoyed a thriller as much as I enjoyed this one! Definitely 5/5 10/10! This was so good! It definitely kept me wanting to know what was gonna happen each chapter。 I didn’t wanna stop reading some nights。 The ending was also so satisfying。 And I’m glad it ended the way it did。

IF ONLY!I have read hundreds of books, but I have never read one with so many different stories inside the main story before this one。 To say it was intriguing, scary, intense, and gripping is like saying the sun is bright。 This book was seering hot, penetratingly thrilling, and a true testament of good verses evil。

When Luke's wife Ashley and stepdaughter Joy disappear suddenly, he's at a total loss。 The more he investigates, the more bizarre and scary the whole scenario becomes。 Since he's a multimillionaire, he goes to great lengths to pursue all leads。 When the fingers start pointing at FBI and Chinese diplomats, things get really hairy。 What could've been a good thriller falls flat at the finish line。 When Luke's wife Ashley and stepdaughter Joy disappear suddenly, he's at a total loss。 The more he investigates, the more bizarre and scary the whole scenario becomes。 Since he's a multimillionaire, he goes to great lengths to pursue all leads。 When the fingers start pointing at FBI and Chinese diplomats, things get really hairy。 What could've been a good thriller falls flat at the finish line。 。。。more

This wasn’t necessarily my kind of book。 The hero was a bit too good to be true as was his understanding of situation。 A quick-ending not to my liking。

It was a good listen on for an audiobook。 It started off good but the ending was pretty predictable。 It's an easy listen and it's a quick story to kill some time。 It was a good listen on for an audiobook。 It started off good but the ending was pretty predictable。 It's an easy listen and it's a quick story to kill some time。 。。。more

okay read It was a long drawn out fairytale。 Predictable, over written at times and drawn out。 Would have been better with fewer chapters and getting to the point。

This author never lets me down。 I came across this author about a year ago by accident and have read almost all of his books。 I of course had to buy my copy of this book on release day。 How could one incredible good deed make you have to run for your life? Imagine being the person on the other end who has no idea what is going on or why it is happening。 The story is about so much more than just the mystery part of it。 At the core it’s actually a love story and how far we would be willing to go for the person that we love。 This author does a great job of making you feel what the character is feeling。 He does not put a bunch of fluff in his books and he keeps you on your toes。 Just when you think you might have it figured out, you get blindsided, but in a good way。 I found this book to be very enjoyable。 The only part I would’ve liked to had was a little more from her feelings。 Overall as I have found with all books by this author however, it is one I am so glad that I read and cannot wait for his next book。 。。。more
